Alan Arlt is a sports entrepreneur and strategic advisor recognized for his contributions to building and scaling recreational sports ventures.

Over nearly two decades, he has helped turn startup ideas into successful, multimillion-dollar operations through focused strategies in growth, operations, and partnerships.

As founder of Ultimate Hoops, Inc. in 2006, Alan created the premier recreational basketball league, expanding it across 30+ markets after its acquisition by Life Time, Inc. in 2008.

This yielded an 18x return on investment and grew the program into one of North America's largest, with over 20,000 members, 45 leagues, and multimillion-dollar revenue.

He led key initiatives, including the launch of the Basketball Skills Training division in 2016, which drove new revenue streams and accounted for roughly 70% of basketball earnings.

Alan also built partnerships with NBA and WNBA players like Kevin Love, Maya Moore, and Carmelo Anthony to offer camps, clinics, and national tournaments in Las Vegas and New York City, enhancing community involvement and brand reach.

He advanced from a sales associate at Turner to a manager of ad sales marketing, and sponsorships at Discovery over six years.

There, he developed skills in sponsorships, corporate marketing, and climbing the corporate ladder in high-pressure environments.

Today, he advises entrepreneurs and organizations worldwide on optimizing operations, securing sponsorships, and creating competitive advantages in dynamic markets.
